From yarn and construction to GSM, colour, texture, printing, dyeing and finishing, we look at the fabric as a complete textile rather than simply a product specification.

This understanding helps us discuss requirements more meaningfully and identify practical possibilities at an early stage.

Manufacturing, Not Just Merchandising

Fabrino is not primarily a catalogue-based fabric trader.

We work with woven cotton and cotton-based textiles, along with the processes required to develop and produce them.

Depending on the requirement, this can include:

Fabric → Dyeing → Printing → Washing → Coating → Finishing → Packing → Dispatch

This manufacturing-oriented approach allows us to understand what is actually involved in producing a fabric rather than simply quoting what is available.

Development When You Need It

Not every requirement needs development.

If you already have an approved fabric and specification, you can come directly to us for production.

But when an existing fabric is not quite right—or when you have something specific in mind—we can explore bespoke development around your requirement.

This could involve changes to:

Weight • Construction • Colour • Texture • Print • Wash • Coating • Finish

Your requirement determines the approach.

Flexible Quantities, Where Practical

We understand that not every customer needs thousands of metres.

Sampling, development and production have different quantity requirements, and the practical quantity can vary according to the fabric, construction, GSM and processes involved.

Where operationally practical, we can work with smaller sampling and development quantities, while also supporting larger production requirements.

Our approach is to assess the requirement rather than apply one rigid MOQ to everything.

Clear Communication

We understand that not every customer needs thousands of metres.

We believe communication is part of the service.

We aim to communicate clearly about:

• What is possible
• What may be difficult
• What information is required
• What the process involves
• What quantity is practical
• What may affect cost
• What may affect timelines

If an issue or delay arises during production, we believe in proactive communication rather than post-hoc explanations.

Realistic Commitments

We would rather be transparent about what can realistically be achieved than make an attractive promise that becomes difficult later.

A reference fabric may not always be reproducible exactly.

A photograph may not be a reliable colour standard.

A small development may not behave exactly like bulk production.

A very low quantity may carry higher processing costs.

We believe customers should understand these realities before committing, not after.

Sometimes the requirement is straightforward.

Sometimes it isn’t.

You may have a reference fabric that needs to be interpreted, an existing fabric that needs modification, a difficult colour, a specific texture, an unusual print or a quantity that does not fit conventional production routes.

Rather than simply saying “this is not available,” we try to understand the underlying requirement and explore whether there is a practical way forward.
